Sales Manager - Boots & Coots Well Control

Job Duties

We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to oversee sales operations for the Boots & Coots division, specializing in well control, pressure control, firefighting, and emergency response services. This role is responsible for leading the sales team, managing key client relationships, and collaborating with technical and operational teams to deliver high-impact, safety-critical solutions to customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead and align the sales organization to execute the division’s business strategy across well control, pressure control, firefighting, and emergency response services.
•    Collaborate with Account Leaders and Technical Advisors to develop comprehensive, risk-focused account plans tailored to client operations and safety needs.
•    Partner closely with the Business Development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including complex emergency response contracts and long-term service agreements.
•    Oversee pricing strategy, contract structuring, and negotiations in alignment with technical capabilities and operational readiness.
•    Provide leadership in managing HAZID/HAZOP reviews and integrating risk assessments into client solutions and project execution plans.
•    Drive the development and execution of Emergency Response Plans and lead regular drills to ensure preparedness and regulatory compliance.
•    Maintain a deep understanding of customer operations, industry safety standards, and competitor activity to anticipate market trends and client needs.
•    Manage departmental budgets, personnel, and technical assets to ensure efficient delivery of services and revenue growth.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
•    8–10 years of experience in Boots & Coots service lines, including well control, pressure control, firefighting, or emergency response.
•    Demonstrated success in business development or sales leadership within high-risk, safety-critical service environments.
•    Proven experience managing revenue portfolios in the range of $25M to $100M.
•    Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, incident response protocols, and risk management best practices.
•    Skilled in project management and operational planning in time-sensitive or crisis-response environments.
•    Bilingual proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred.

Candidates who possess qualifications exceeding the minimum job requirements will be considered for higher-level positions based on their experience, additional job requirements, and current business needs.
