Job Duties

We are seeking a GenAI Data Scientist to join our innovation center team in Bengaluru. You'll work with us to envision, develop, and deploy next-generation Generative AI solutions for the global energy industry.

In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine learning, research, and a commitment to ethical AI development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Mathematics: Statistics, Multivariate calculus, Linear algebra, Optimization


Programming Language: Advanced Python


Python Packages:
            o Data Handling/Visualization: Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn/Matplotlib
            o Machine Learning: Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, LightGBM
            o Deep Learning: TensorFlow/PyTorch
            o Generative AI: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Hugging Face transformers

•Generative AI:
           o Large Language/Vision Models (LLM/LVM): Experience with a variety of models (e.g., Gemini, GPT, Claude, Llama) and their APIs.
           o Model Fine-tuning: Expertise in fine-tuning foundation models for domain-specific tasks.
           o Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): Designing and implementing robust RAG systems for real-time, context-aware applications.
           o Prompt Engineering & Agentic Workflows: Advanced skills in prompt design and building multi-step AI agents.
           o Vector Databases/Search: Experience with vector databases and embedding techniques.


Version Control System: Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)


Databases: SQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)


Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), specifically with their AI/ML and data services (e.g., AWS  Sagemaker, Azure Machine Learning, Google Vertex AI).

Qualifications

Education


Bachelors/Masters/Dual-Degree/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related quantitative field.
