OTC Process- Representative/ Specialist- Billing

Job Duties

  • Under direct supervision, supports the Opportunity to Cash (OTC) Global Business Services (GBS) value stream and function which includes end to end business processes for receiving and processing sales to fulfillment and invoicing for goods/services.
  • This role will work in Business Development (Pricing and Contracts or Proposals and Quotes) or Operations (Sales Order Management or Invoicing).
  • The incumbent creates, edits, manages and validates OTC internal and customer data and system documents with attention to details, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicates with team and internal clients. Receives on the job training for OTC processes and systems.
  • Takes an active part in the continuous improvement process. Promotes and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • This is an entry level role into the OTC function. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of experience working in an office environment are required.
  • A business degree and previous experience working in the oil and gas industry, specifically in business development, field operations, or field engineering are preferred.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The Billing team member will be involved in verification / reconciliation of required documents with the sales orders received for billing from Sales order team.  Ensure invoices are generated as per the company policy / procedure, and co-ordinate with sales order team to overcome any disconnects / missing information.

  • Ensure accurate invoices are generated enabling timely payment and revenue recognition
  • Manage disputes and resolve queries from customer / business development team
  • Timely closure of billing requests received
  • The individual will be expected to constantly be on the lookout for ways to enhance and add value to the process.
  • Manage service delivery and meet customer requirements asper agreed SLAs
  • Should ensure customer satisfaction and process excellence.
  • Month / Quarter end closures
  • Develop & maintain Internal Customer relationship
  • Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Graduate (Preferably B. Com)


Total Years of Experience: 2 – 6 Years of experience

Desired/Preferred Expertise: Experienced in Order To Cash (Sales Order, Billing & Dispute Management).  Hands on Experience on SAP / Sales Force / S4 will be an added advantage.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including OTC Process- Representative and OTC Process- Specialist.
